The Lee Coggins Patient Care Fund has raised more than $570,000 to provide comfort and support for gynecologic oncology patients at Huntsville Hospital.

Diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2017, Lee Coggins made it her mission to raise awareness and give back to those who gave her comfort and care when she needed it most. To honor her efforts, friends and family established the Lee Coggins Patient Care Fund at Huntsville Hospital Foundation in 2020. Donations to the fund provide financial support to the survivorship program for recently diagnosed patients and those undergoing outpatient chemotherapy treatment in Huntsville Hospital’s Outpatient Chemotherapy with Tennessee Valley Gynecologic Oncology.

Your gifts to the Lee Coggins Patient Care Fund provide:

  • Chemo care bags for newly-diagnosed patients

  • Financial assistance for patients in need

  • Comfort care items for chemo patients, such as blankets

  • Gift cards for gas and meal support
