Ways to Give

Huntsville Hospital Foundation welcomes corporate, organizational and individual support to further the mission of the hospital. Giving opportunities range from unrestricted annual gifts to gifts of stock, real estate and personal property. The Foundation has a well-established gift planning program to assist donors with gifts such as bequests, gift annuities, charitable remainder trusts and endowment.

Cash
A gift of cash in the form of a check is the simplest and most immediate way people contribute to Huntsville Hospital Foundation. Cash gifts may also be pledged over a number of years. All major credit cards are also accepted.

Online 

Online Lifeline is an online giving program at Huntsville Hospital Foundation that gives YOU the opportunity to choose exactly where your donation goes - right down to buying a specific piece of equipment! 

Online Lifeline works just like your favorite online retailers.  Search through the list of items needed by the patients and staff at Huntsville Hospital, and find the piece of equipment that you would like to help purchase for the hospital department of your choice.  Click the “add to your cart" button and enter your donation amount.  Once you have selected the items you would like to purchase, you are ready to check out.

After you have checked out and your gift has been finalized, the funds for your item(s) are made available for Huntsville Hospital Foundation to purchase. The hospital department that you donated to will then take care of securing the item(s) you selected. You can feel confident in knowing that what you choose is what your money will purchase. All items on Online Lifeline are designated needs of the specific hospital departments. Online Lifeline was created to make it easy to buy meaningful gifts needed by our patients.

Kreative Kids
Purchase note cards featuring the artwork of pediatric patients, local artists, and our friends in the community.  Proceeds from the sale of Kreative Kids products benefit Child Life Services and the Pediatric Unit at Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children.

Matching Gifts
Many employers have matching gift programs through which your generosity to Huntsville Hospital can be multiplied. Check with your human resources office to see if your company offers matching gifts to non-profit agencies.

Appreciated Securities
Giving appreciated securities, such as stocks, bonds or mutual funds allows you to avoid capital gains tax on the appreciated portion of the asset.

Real Estate
Qualified gifts of real estate can be given outright to support the Foundation, and the donor receives a tax deduction for the fair market value of the property. Real estate can also be given to fund a life income arrangement.

Memorial/Tribute Gifts
Huntsville Hospital Foundation welcomes memorial and tribute gifts, which may be given to honor a special relative, friend or associate. Gifts are given to provide a meaningful and lasting memorial or to celebrate a loved one's special occasion. Donations may be unrestricted gifts or designated for a specific purpose or area at the hospital. Notification is sent to the honoree or family. The amount of your gift will not be mentioned.

Event Sponsorships
Huntsville Hospital Foundation offers numerous sponsorship opportunities for corporations, organizations and individuals.

Endowed Named Funds
You may establish a special endowed fund in your own name or in the name of someone meaningful to you with a minimum gift of $25,000.
