Patricia Latham benefited from state-of-the-art TAVR technology at Huntsville Hospital Heart Center, made possible by Foundation donors.
“Hospitals cannot afford to provide all of the equipment that is necessary to do this level of procedures without support from the community and from donations … I think it’s extremely important for the community to realize that and to understand that they are a part of what is happening here. That by their donations, they do become part of this facility and of what happens to people like me. It’s those donations that make these kinds of things available. And especially to have it right here in Huntsville is wonderful.”
