The Millennium Society
2011 Millennium Society Member-Guest Luncheon
Huntsville Hospital Foundation’s Millennium Society annual Member-Guest Luncheon was held on March 31 at The Ledges with more than 100 women in attendance. The event featured special guest, Jeanne Daniel who is the founder, co-owner and designer for bella tu, a special collection of tunics and tops that are made in Mumbai, India. At the luncheon, Jeanne shared highlights of her career, as well as her collection. After the event, a trunk show was held with a percentage of the proceeds benefiting the Robin Lanier Stewart Memorial Fund which provides financial assistance for local patients who need help paying for medication associated with their cancer treatment.
Thank you to everyone who attended this lovely and fashionable event for a great cause!

About the Millennium Society
The Millennium Society, established in 2004, is a group of women, representing all segments of the community, who support Huntsville Hospital Foundation with charitable gifts. The mission of the Millennium Society is to create solutions and to make a difference in the lives of patients right here in our community: our neighbors, co-workers, children and grandchildren…and those we don’t even know. In doing so, we continue the legacy that began in 1895 when the Ladies of the United Charities established the Huntsville Infirmary, a hospital that has grown to be one of the largest in the country, and one that consistently raises the standard of care it provides for patients across north Alabama.
Membership is open to all women interested in supporting the advancement of healthcare in our community. The only membership “requirements” are the $1,000 annual contribution and a willingness to designate the gift to benefit the hospital department selected for funding support that year.
Since 1895, volunteerism, philanthropy and strong community support have been the cornerstones of our hospital. Women continue to play an integral role in Huntsville Hospital’s success, and we hope to continue that wonderful tradition as we join together and extend that wonderful legacy for the good of our community!
