Thanks for visiting my web page! I am taking part in the 5th annual Swim for Melissa to raise money for the Melissa George Neonatal Memorial Fund at Huntsville Hospital Foundation. All of the money I raise will go towards the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment for critically ill premature babies. Some of these babies are so small, they can fit in the palm of your hand!

This cause is especially important to me because my big sister and I both had to spend time in the NICU. Kailynn spent 30 days in the NICU before she went to Heaven. She was born at 25 weeks and only weighed 1 pound and 15 ounces. I was in the NICU four days because I was having a little trouble breathing. I was born at 35 weeks and weighed 5 pounds 15 ounces.

We both used equipment that was purchased by previous swimmers' donations. We are very thankful for the excellent care we received and want to help tiny babies in the future.
