The 22nd annual Huntsville Classic Dinner and Golf Tournament was a runaway success! Friday night's dinner and concert were a sold-out event with nearly every seat in the house filled by more than 5,000 dinner attendees and concert goers. The live auction featured several lucky bidders going home with items including a priceless ladies Rolex timepiece, courtesy of Loring & Co.; and trips to California, Las Vegas, and even Bryant Park Fashion Week in New York City - all featuring air fare provided by American Airlines! The highlight of the evening was a spectacular performance by the legendary band
Chicago® featuring the greatest hits of their 40-year career.
The following day, 76 golf teams hit the links on the Hampton Cove Robert Trent Jones Golf Course. Enjoying the beautiful weather as well, 8 teams of women in the inaugural Women's Short Course Tournament swung their clubs to benefit Huntsville Hospital Foundation's Liz Hurley Breat Cancer Fund. The weekend was filled with fun and good times had by all, and the community's support benefited a great cause - proceeds from the 22nd annual Huntsville Classic Golf Tournament will fund Huntsville Hospital's new state-of-the-art orthopedic surgery suite.
Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy a night of music and a day of golf for a great cause. Stay tuned for the announcement of how much the community raised for Huntsville Hospital's orthopedic program!
