Hot Shots

Hot Shots is a cornerstone group providing social connections and education for all individuals and families living with type 1 diabetes, sponsored by Huntsville Hospital Foundation, Southeastern Diabetes Education Services, Alabama American Diabetes Association Advocates and JDRF.

Hot Shots hosts support group meetings for parents and social events to offer bonding and educational opportunities for children and teens with type 1 diabetes and their families. Upcoming events are can be seen to the right.

The program also encourages adults with type 1 diabetes to volunteer or to mentor chilren involved in the program.
