About the Club
For most employees, Huntsville Hospital is more than just a place to work. It is our home away from home; a place we care about because of the work that we do and the difference Huntsville Hospital makes in the health and well-being of our community. Many of the hospital's employees have taken their commitment to the community one step further by joining the Lifesaver Club, Huntsville Hospital's employee giving club.
The Lifesaver Club was established in 1989 to provide a means for employees to help raise funds for the benefit and growth of Huntsville Hospital. Contributions to the Lifesaver Club support the hospital's mission to provide quality care to improve the health of those we serve. Funding is used for equipment purchases, the employee benevolence fund, scholarships, and special projects which often exceed the hospital's budgeted resources.
The number of employees who belong to the Lifesaver Club is a true testament of their compassion and dedication. Approximately 75% of Huntsville Hospital's employees contribute to the Lifesaver Club. This level of participation is one of the highest in the nation!
